Your New Role:

As our Manufacturing Engineer specializing in Cost & DFM, you'll be the vital conduit linking our dual customer bases: builders needing precision parts and the manufacturing partners who craft them. Leveraging your mechanical engineering prowess, you'll champion collaborative efforts, drive process enhancements, and uphold top-tier manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Release Package Review: Dive into models, drawings, and specs to outline work scopes, assess manufacturability, pinpoint requirements, and optimize lead times.

- Quoting Expertise: Marry your analytical insights with our cutting-edge software to deliver precise, competitive quotes.

- Cost Calculator Development: Craft sophisticated cost calculators to refine our quoting processes for emerging services.

- DFx Strategy: Offer crucial DFx guidance, proposing design tweaks to boost manufacturability, cut costs, or simplify assembly.

- Automation Enhancement: Work closely with our software team to elevate the precision of our automated quoting tools.

- Precision Drawing Creation: Produce top-quality 2D drawings adhering to ANSI/ASME Y14.5 standards.
