Manufacturing Software and Hardware Test Engineer
Job Description
The Gogo Business Aviation Manufacturing Software and Hardware Test Engineer will develop and support the manufacturing test process for airborne and ground systems, services, and tools.

How will you make a difference?
- Integrate information from a variety of sources to arrive at a broad understanding of issues
- Work with various stakeholders and SMEs, approach and troubleshoot complex problems or issues systematically, looking for connections, trends, and root causes to drive solution
- Setup and troubleshoot test environments, leveraging our lab infrastructure
- Contribute to multiple projects concurrently while optimizing for the highest benefits and minimizing risks
- Partner with stakeholders and SMEs to develop and execute system acceptance tests in a manufacturing environment
- Diplomatically communicate technical issues and resolution paths to a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to all phases of the product software development life cycle from business case, design, and requirement review for manufacturing process impact to release/sustaining activities
- Retrospect and apply lessons from past and current experiences to drive continuous improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field or comparable work experience
- 2-4 years of test engineering or development experience
Required Skills & Experience
- Test automation or scripting (LabView, Python, Groovy, and/or other OO languages)
- Analyze and comment on technical requirements for testability and interoperability of products relative to a manufacturing environment
- Experience reviewing technical requirements and developing hardware test systems with associated scripts
- Document the test system operation, maintenance, and maintenance processes
- Review and give concise, constructive feedback on plans and tests created by partner teams, providing design for manufacturing and test recommendations
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking
- Read and understand LabView architecture and programs
- Contribute to a fast-paced, highly dynamic, agile development environment
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Intimate knowledge of Linux and command line/shell usage and scripting
- Facilitation of UAT or UX testing
- Familiarity with the complete test Software Development Life Cycle
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in expressing complex topics
- Experience with end-to-end system testing
- Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Experience and/or interest in aviation, satellite or wireless communications, or aerospace
- AWS or other cloud environments

Colorado Equal Pay Statement: Disclosure required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role to be located in the state of Colorado.
Base Pay:
74,000.00 - 92,500.00 USD Annual
Target Annual Short-Term Incentive:
Bonus Plan at 5% (% of Annualized Base Pay)
