Department Overview

The Richardson Manufacturing Engineering is responsible for providing all necessary engineering - Mechanical, Electrical and Software support for manufacturing state-of-art Video products (Fixed and Mobile).
Job Description

• The summer intern will be assigned an engineering mentor and will help to directly support design and development of new Test solutions - hardware and/or software.

• The intern will learn to put into use their academic knowledge and get the opportunity to learn from the mentor and other engineers on how to develop creative solutions and deploy them in a factory environment.

• The intern will engage with Production folks at times to gain insight into the manufacturing environment, technical challenges and need for automation. It'll give the opportunity to understand the importance of Design for Manufacturing principles.

Basic Requirements

• Candidates must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree specifically in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering

• Must have a graduation date on or after December 2023
