Marine Corps Human Capital Manager

Who We're Looking For (Position Overview):

Spry is looking for a teammate to help the Marine Corps plan and shape the next generation of information technology focused Marines in support of the Deputy Commandant for Information at Headquarters Marine Corps. You will work with the 06xx Occupational Field team to develop and deliver a complex community modernization effort. Your strategic approach will drive efficiency and innovation, ensuring key project milestones are achieved. Your leadership will directly contribute to the growth and modernization of the Marine Corps community.

What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities):

• You will work closely with Headquarters Marine Corps Deputy Commandant Information Civilian and Military team to provide input and plan the next generation of communication professionals for the Marine Corps. In this role you will also:
• Coordinate, and at times lead, Working Groups or Operational Planning Teams (OPT) made up of Marine Corps communication subject matter experts spread out across the globe
• Develop and define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Facilitate meetings to ensure smooth communication and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and meeting notes.

What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):

• DOD SECRET Clearance
• Subject Matter Expertise of the Marine Corps Communications Occupational Field (06xx PMOS).
• Technical writing skills to prepare reports, presentations, and documents for different stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge.
• Proficiency in office 365 products not limited to word, excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams.

Ideally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

• Prior Marine Corps experience is highly preferred.
• Experience and understanding of Marine Corps structure and organizations.
• Experience and understanding of the Marine Corps planning process.
• Experience leading virtual working groups and teams dispersed throughout the globe. 
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools like Power BI.
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
