Responsible for the data, support and user administration for Marine Assets Systems such as InfoShip, NAPA Elog and their related modules and interfaces. Work with IT department and vendors to support and understand the related software and infrastructure for supported systems for ships of the Carnival Fleet. Maintain a secure computing environment by following CCL security protocols and coordinating the installation of required updates and upgrades; monitor proper system performance and provide user training when required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • System and user administration of CCL Marine Asset System and its modules and interfaces including data synchronization.
  • Data entry coordination to ensure clean data taxonomy.
  • Log and track all technical support requests and incidents in help-desk application and work with IT team and vendor to solve issues.
  • Establishes system updates specifications by working with users, analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Education: Associate degree/Bachelor's degree
  • Discipline/Major: IT System Administration/Database
  • Required Years and Area of Professional Experience: 5 Years in Marine Systems/Database Management/Shipboard Experience
  • Critical Professional Related Technical/Computer Skills: SQL Scripting
  • Other Requirements: SQL Scripting/Data Management experience
  • Preferred Education: IT Systems Management
  • Preferred Experience & Type: Shipboard/Data Management
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Infoship/AMOS/ERP system Management

  • Standard: These decisions are those that are repetitive decisions on a recurring basis and are commonly related to daily activities. They are relatively simple, relying on historical data and previous solutions. Examples are: reordering of standard office supplies, handling transactions.

  • Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time. Requires regular movement throughout CCL facilities.
  • Travel: None or very little travel likely.
  • Work Conditions: These decisions are those that are repetitive decisions on a recurring basis and are commonly related to daily activities. They are relatively simple, relying on historical data and previous solutions. Examples are: reordering of standard office supplies, handling transactions. May be requested to work a different shift.

The range for this role's base salary is $71,096 - $85,000. Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
