Marine Welder

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Marine Welder to work on Ship. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to follow technical drawings. This role requires an individual who can perform various welding techniques and ensure high-quality standards in all projects. The Welder will also collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines and maintain safety protocols. Responsibilities • Perform welding tasks using various techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding • Read technical drawings to determine project specifications • Fabricate metal components according to design requirements • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments such as calipers and ohmmeters • Conduct maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance • Assist in rigging and assembly of components for larger projects • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients regarding project specifications or concerns • Perform heavy lifting as required during the fabrication process Requirements • Proven experience as a Welder or in a similar role with mechanical knowledge • Familiarity with electrical systems is a plus • Experience in vehicle maintenance or service technician roles is advantageous • Ability to work with sheet metal and perform soldering tasks effectively • Strong understanding of fabrication processes and techniques • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments • Military experience is preferred but not required • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Ability to lift heavy materials safely and efficiently Join us to contribute to exciting marine projects in a supportive environment.
