Main Responsibilities

The Market Access team is looking for an intern who will be contributing to the overall Market Access agenda by shaping market access strategies and advancing patient access to pharmaceutical innovations. The incumbent will have an opportunity to work closely on cross-border projects, covering both Singapore and Malaysia.

In this role, the intern will have an opportunity to:
  • Work closely with the Market Access team and the broader stakeholders to support market access priorities:
    • Stakeholder mapping and stakeholder engagement planning
    • Value-proposition development
    • Access advocacy through Whitepaper on high-priority disease areas
  • Drive value demonstration across one or more of the following therapeutic areas: Vaccines, Immunology, Diabetes
  • Deep dive into processes and guidelines for pharmaceutical products to achieve access in the market post-launch
  • Gain real-world experience on managing internal stakeholders and external stakeholders (e.g., government payors, healthcare professionals, patients) that are crucial for market access success in pharmaceutical industry

Experience:
  • Soft skills:
    • Self-motivated individual with strong communication and analytical skills
    • Deeply curious
    • Can-do attitude
  • Technical skills: Office pack, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Education and experience: Degree in Business, Economics, Public Health, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related fields.
  • Languages: Ability to converse fluently in English.
  • Bonus:
    • Experience in pharmaceuticals
    • Understanding of Malaysia healthcare environment
    • Malay language proficiency
