Role Summary
The Marketing Analyst will work closely with Upper-Level Management, Sales & Business Development teams, country sales teams to maintain data relative to our key markets and customers. The Marketing Analyst is responsible for the aggregation, analysis and communication of the critical information needed to effectively monitor new business awards and targets, customer strategies and growth targets, regional market analysis, and competitor changes and strategies. The analyst will produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports for distribution as needed. This person will also support the Global Sales Database (GSD) and Powertrain forecasting systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare monthly Target vs. Actual tracking updates summarizing booked, quoted and opportunity by Magna Group.• Prepare, present and lead selected quarterly Customer Focus Meetings.• Prepare presentations, reports, and other analysis to support Executive Management, Sales & Business Development teams.• Prepare and support preparation of OEM and competitor profiles and support online Customer portal.• Support the Global Sales Database (GSD) and Powertrain forecasting Teams. Provide support in running reports, preparing program and customer specific analysis of GSD data, and working with groups to make necessary corrections and adjustments.• Assist in testing system enhancements required by Magna Groups prior to deploying to production for both GSD and Powertrain systems.• Perform other duties as required
Key Qualifications/Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience as a sales, business or financial analyst• Ability to summarize and analyze large amounts of data• Excellent verbal and communication skills required• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field is required
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required• Advanced proficiency in database queries and data analysis required• Working knowledge of Power BI• To be successful in this role, exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities are necessary• Good judgment and strong communication skills are critical • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and not be afraid to ask questions and seek answers when follow-up is required• Able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment• Strong flexibility is a requirement in this role• Willingness to travel regionally or globally as required
Additional Information
Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
