Market Analyst - Bilingual (English and Thai)

We're looking for an experienced Market Analyst with a strong background in the retail derivatives market. The ideal candidate will create engaging market updates and educational content for distribution across various channels, including social media, portals, and publications. They will proactively build media contacts to enhance the ThinkMarkets brand presence, provide insights to traders through leading media outlets, and represent ThinkMarkets during interviews, seminars, and web-based events. This role offers high exposure and challenges and will be based in our KL office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create trading educational content on both fundamental and technical analysis.
• Connect ThinkMarkets trading product to the educational article.
• Regular commentary on trading opportunities in stock/forex/commodities/indices markets.
• Experience posting commentary by collaborating with the marketing team onto social media sites or published work by
• Host trading educational webinar/seminar internally and externally.
• Support sales team on any analysis and training requirements.
• Expertise in charting, analytical tools, and prediction formulation.
• Willingness to contribute to new product initiatives and improvements.
• Ability to lead promotional efforts for driving new account sign-ups.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance or Economics preferred.
• Excellent research skills.
• Exceptional oral communication and presentation skills 
• Fluency in English and Thai is required/preferred for this position
• Collaborative team player who works effectively with external and internal global stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate industry best practices and the latest financial trends clearly.
• Proven project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects in high-pressure, tight-deadline settings.
• Experience with video or television a plus, but not essential.
• Previous experience as an FX/CFD/derivatives dealer considered an advantage.
