As a member of the Corporate Compliance department, the Market Conduct Analyst is responsible for the efficient and prudent handling of complaints, subpoenas, and state inquiries. This individual investigates and resolves policyholder complaints concerning insurance products and services from intake to resolution while meeting state-mandated deadlines.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Review each complaint, assess the issues noted, request necessary information from the appropriate lines of business, and follow up with business line contacts as needed
  • Write responses on behalf of the company to address various specific audiences such as client, agent, state, or attorney
  • Track and document complaints, subpoenas, and inquiries in the Market Conduct tool as tasks are completed and within defined deadlines
  • Gather appropriate documentation and respond to the specific requests within a subpoena
  • Other duties as may be assigned by the Compliance Department leadership.

Educational Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Associates degree and 2+ years of insurance experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
  • 4+ years of insurance experience
  • Experience in the insurance industry; life, annuities, or disability a plus.
  • Customer Service Experience a plus

Salary Band: 04A

This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN.The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, WI, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
