A Brief Overview• The Project Manager - Market Development and Outreach (MDO) is responsible for managing projects under the general supervision of the Executive Director, Senior Director or Director. Ensures the completion of projects is in scope, on schedule, within budget, and meets all program objectives for team output.• Responsible for foundational MDO team planning, delegation, managing multiple complex calendars to schedule meetings, appointments and engagements; arrange conferences and events, meetings for commissions, boards, or other bodies; make travel, lodging and meeting room arrangements including public address systems, teleconferencing, and other amenities; ensure agendas, background information, minutes and other pertinent materials are prepared and distributed; maintain official records of such meetings for MDO team follow up.• Compose correspondence and prepare administrative reports and/or records, relying on a variety of source material; respond to requests regarding team participation, programs and activities; provide administrative data, and communicate the activities, views, and commitments of the MDO directors.• The Project Manager - MDO will be the primary lead and communicator regarding assigned projects. This position is responsible for supporting the management of key strategic organizational projects. This includes the establishing of communication requirements, project monitoring & control, defining project objectives; identifying, assessing & managing risks and escalations, and aligning leadership support. Will be required to use the existing standard work/processes and tools as part of the assessment and implementation processes.

What you will do
- Leads and owns programs and initiatives that involve multiple team members and deliverables.
- Drives operational execution and communication for assigned MDO programs and projects.
- Develops and maintains effective relationships with project owners, operational leaders, business services, IT, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
- Understands customer requirements and manages the dynamics of these individuals.
- Manages multiple complex calendars; using time management and organizational skills and software to proactively update calendars, coordinate and schedule meetings.
- Supports and collaborates with project sponsors, project leads, creative and digital team on all aspects of projects.
- Assists in defining business requirements, understanding team priorities and identifying opportunities to optimize or consolidate creative materials.
- Reviews copy, layout and proofs for accuracy, adherence to brand guidelines and quality standards, and coordinates team and client approvals of all deliverables.
- Streamlines and standardizes workflow to maximize team effectiveness.
- Stakeholder and resource management within portfolio and across entire MDO team.
- Develops and produces reports when necessary.
- Tracks and reports progress and performance of programs/projects consistently.
- Composes correspondence and prepares administrative reports and/or financial records, relying on a variety of source material; responds to requests for information regarding programs and activities; provide administrative data, and communicates the activities, views, and commitments of the MDO team.
- Compiles publications, newsletters, or informational pamphlets; determines appropriate layout and design. Works with authors to prepare charts or graphics to ensure optimum quality of final reproduction. Coordinates printing and distribution.
- Reviews, proofreads and edits documents prepared for MDO director's signature; ensures work product quality and quantity control by reviewing documents, reports, forms, records, or other materials for content, completeness or accuracy; ensures proper grammar, punctuation, spelling and usage as well as appropriate distribution and archiving.
- Organizes and maintains confidential records and files for the executive on computer or manual systems, including materials of a highly sensitive or complex nature, ensuring the security of such information; maintain filing systems.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university.
Experience Qualifications
- Minimum four (4) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
Relevant work experience in market development, business development, advertising, and / or related fields
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple detail-oriented projects simultaneously
Demonstrated experience in achieving goals on time, with attention to detail and the resourcefulness to proactively identify and resolve potential problems and communicate any change in priorities to impacted stakeholders.
Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration and negotiation skills.
Strong communication skills-written, verbal and presentation.
Familiarity with project management software (preferably Workfront and SmartSheets).
Experience with process improvement and resource allocation.
Advanced time management and analytical skills.
Demonstrated experience in project management for business development / market development, creative or agency environment.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $55.80 - $73.92 per hour
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
