Market Development Representative
Job Description

JustiFi is growing, and we are adding a Market Development Representative (MDR) to our St. Paul team. As an MDR, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales and marketing teams and contributing to our growth. Your primary responsibility will be to use cutting-edge tools and workflows to identify, research, and categorize prospects for our sales team while supporting marketing with asset support and demand generation. You will manage and maintain our database of leads, ensuring the data is clean, up-to-date, and organized. Your role will also involve content creation, analytics, competitor analysis, market analysis, and marketing support.

Our office is located in St. Paul, MN and this is an in-office position so we are only considering local candidates.
What you will do in the Market Development Representative role:
- Research and Identification: Researching and identifying potential leads and categorizing them based on various parameters.
- Data Management: Managing and maintaining the database of Marketing Targets, Marketing Qualified Lead (MQLs), and Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
- Analytics: Analyzing data related to leads, such as engagement rates, response rates, and conversion rates.
- Supporting Sales Team: Providing the sales team with all the necessary information and tools they need for successful outreach and conversion.
- Market Analysis: Keeping up with industry trends, news, and updates.
- Marketing Support: Assisting in marketing efforts by helping to create and distribute marketing materials, participating in social media efforts, and helping to organize and promote events and webinars.
Experience and qualities for success in the Market Development Representative role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in a similar role or relevant internship experience
- Strong ambition and drive to excel in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Curiosity and a desire to learn about fintech, entrepreneurship, sales, marketing, and technology
- High level of accountability and commitment to meeting deadlines.Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales and marketing tools (Experience with Hubspot a bonus)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Creative, resourceful, and detail-oriented
- Self-starter that still thrives in a team environment
At JustiFi, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
