The Omnicell Market Strategy team is responsible for conducting research, gathering and analyzing data that helps support product management, sales, marketing and business development. Critical to success will be the ability to transform research findings into actionable insights to drive strategic decision making.

Job Summary - Market Insights Manager
Omnicell's goal is to transform the pharmacy delivery model by continuing to build a fully autonomous pharmacy. The autonomous pharmacy will combine automation, insights, and service to deliver demonstrable outcomes to customers. Our goal is to improve patient safety, reduce labor cost, reduce drug spend and improve value in the pharmacy supply chain.

The Market Insights Manager is a key member of Omnicell's Market Strategy team. This role will be responsible for conducting research, gathering and analyzing data that helps support product management, sales, marketing and business development. Critical to success will be the ability to transform research findings into actionable insights to drive strategic decision making.
This role will work across many functions and organizational levels and have significant visibility within Omnicell. The Market Insights Manager must be capable of cross-organizational collaboration with regular communication on progress and must be able to handle multiple, competing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Develop subject matter expertise related to Omnicell's businesses, competitors, and the medication management and pharmacy industry
- Scope, manage, and execute projects to generate insights on the industry, customer perspective, new market opportunities, existing and emerging competitors, as well as market and product technology trends
- Develop market models in order to segment and size different product markets for Omnicell
- Seek, sense, and analyze market factors including technology, workforce, care delivery, payment and policy trends that are critical to growth
- Develop and maintain in-depth competitive landscape profile for current and emerging product and market segments
- Support the development of business cases for organic/inorganic opportunities in order to quantify the impact within the business
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Demonstrated skills and capabilities in analytical and critical thinking, communication, and creative problem-solving
- Maturity to handle ambiguity and adaptive to dynamic environment
- Strong self-starter, capable of leading and driving projects without supervision toward achieving results
- Demonstrated ability to establish productive working relationships with dynamic and varied personalities
- Ability to synthesize relevant information needed for high-level decision making, and succinctly communicate findings in a clear and concise manner to all levels of the organization
- Exceptional MS Office skills (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 years of previous work experience in consulting, market/competitive intelligence, market research, strategic marketing, or customer insights
- 3 years of experience designing and leading market research projects
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA
- Experience in health IT, medical device, pharmaceutical or a related industry
- Must have strong written and oral presentation skills
- Experience building market models and market sizing
- Proficiency with all MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Hands-on experience working with research vendors
Work Conditions
- This position is 100% remote enabled from any US location
- This position requires up to 10% us based travel
