Responsibilities:

  • Gather and compile market data, customer insights, and competitive intelligence from various sources. Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the banking sector.

  • Assist in conducting comprehensive competitive analysis by tracking and evaluating competitor activities, strengths, weaknesses, and market positioning. Summarize findings and contribute to competitor profiles.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date customer and prospect data. Help enrich customer profiles with relevant firmographic and behavioral information.

  • Assist in defining and maintaining market segmentation models to better target marketing and sales efforts. Work with teams to ensure segmentation aligns with business goals.

  • Support the maintaining of the Total Addressable Market (TAM) model, including segmentation and sizing. Contribute to identifying growth opportunities and market trends.

  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate insights to various stakeholders. Help in presenting findings to teams and leadership.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the banking sector. Provide regular updates to the Market Intelligence Lead and teams.

  • Collaborate with team members across marketing, sales, and product management to ensure market intelligence efforts align with business objectives. Assist in preparing materials for go-to-market strategies and product launches.

  • Utilize analytics tools and software to manipulate and analyze data. Collaborate with IT or data teams to ensure seamless data integration.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.

  • 3-5 years of experience in market research, data analysis, competitive intelligence, or related roles.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools and basic statistical analysis.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and databases.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work with complex datasets and maintain data accuracy.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively present insights and findings.

  • Curiosity and a passion for staying updated on industry trends and developments.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across different departments.

  • Basic understanding of the banking industry and its key drivers.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
