The market manager is responsible for the business, financial, and operational oversight and execution of residential (and commercial when required) installation of stone veneer and masonry projects for given market territory. This role oversees a team of project managers to deliver on the quality and timeliness of primarily new construction projects in the residential space, as well as repair and remodel where applicable. Our Market Manager has the ability to work remotely but must be able to travel 3/4 days per week to job sites to meet with on site Project Managers as well as Customers. The Market Manager supports and travels to customers in Minnesota, Montana and Iowa.Â
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Â
- Own operational oversight of all residential stone installation and masonry work within assigned market area including new residential construction and repair/remodel​Â
- Leads a team of project managers and senior project managers to execute on new, residential stone and masonry installation jobs​Â
- Accountable to deliver on financial goals for the market including strategic objectives and projects, as well as drive safety and compliance within the market while accomplishing operational KPIs and metrics​Â
- Responsible for setting market directives in support of overall regional goals and strategy​Â
- Uphold a strong customer focus with the project management teams and demonstrate cross-functional leadership with sales, logistics, and support operations​Â
- Demonstrate our core values and success behaviors in their approach to work and leadership​Â
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, construction management or similar, or equivalent experience​Â
- 3-5 years of experience in operations leadership​Â
- Experience managing teams​ 1-2 layers deepÂ
- Ability to travel as required​Â
- Solid financial acumen and budget management experience​Â
- Experience in the new construction/remodel industry preferred​Â
- Construction Project management experience a plus​Â
- Strong Communication skills​Â
- Ability to motivate a team to reach KPI and financial goals​Â
- Team Leadership​Â
- Solid computer skills including MS Office and the ability to learn new ones​Â
- Ability to pick up new computer systems and software programs quickly​Â
- Data analysis and reporting​Â
- Ability to lead change and create solid cultureÂ
