Market Operations Analyst

As an insurance broker, Lockton values our relationships with insurance carriers and intermediaries (referred to as markets) and has a dedicated team focused on that engagement. The Market Operations Analyst will be responsible for supporting P&C market management and market security activities. This associate will manage supplemental compensation agreements and track performance. They will complete analytics requests from executive market management relationship owners. They will facilitate the market security process, which includes coordinating activities around carrier rating changes and providing quarterly updates to Lockton leadership.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates compensation agreements and presents recommendations.

• Tracks compensation and manages annual/quarterly allocations.

• Completes ad hoc analytics requests to support market management activities. This includes preparing clear and concise summaries for executive meetings and annual survey results.

• Supports development of carrier analytics tool, including recommending enhancements and testing.

• Participates in data governance activities related to market data.

• Develops competency in understanding P&C data models and utilizing reporting tools to complete ad hoc data analytics requests.

• Facilitates quarterly market security committee meetings, including the preparation of risk analysis.

• Maintains market security procedures and advocates best practices.

• Monitors and communicates carrier rating changes pertinent to market security guidelines.

• Contributes to improving operational efficiency in market management and market security function.

Qualifications

• Minimum1-2 years of data analytics or financial experience

• Proficient in Excel, including the preparation of tables and graphs

• Technically proficient with strong critical thinking skills

• Strong interpersonal skills
