About Rewiring America

Rewiring America is a growing nonprofit working to launch a movement that electrifies everything, starting with our 121 million households. We are motivated by the fact that 90 percent of all emissions in the U.S. are energy related and 42 percent of those energy emissions come from the decisions we make in our homes: how we heat our air and water, cook our food, and dry our clothes, and what kind of cars we drive. Through accurate, accessible and actionable data and storytelling tools that power smart, inclusive advocacy and market-transforming partnerships, Rewiring America aims to achieve national emissions goals, improve our health, lower monthly bills and create millions of clean energy jobs. Our firm belief is that the electrification of the economy -- starting with understanding the American household as the keystone of our infrastructure -- is the most equity-centered way to address the climate crisis. We are focused on transforming the market, with the urgency required to meet the moment we are in and to take advantage of the vast opportunity in front of us.

The Opportunity and Position Summary

Rewiring America is growing rapidly and building partnerships to drive market transformation is a top priority. The Market Partnerships team focuses specifically on private sector relationships to scale the electrification ecosystem via our CEOs for Electrification Coalition, facilitate market interventions to lower the cost of electric machines, and secure distribution partnerships to rapidly deploy content and software tools that connect everyday Americans to their electrification benefits.

We are a small but growing team seeking an entrepreneurial and agile Market Partnerships Analyst to help us deepen our relationships and expand our impact. This position reports to the Director of Private Sector Engagement.

In this newly-created position, the Market Partnerships Analyst will get to flex their project management muscles and also explore their creative side. You'll both keep the team wheels on the bus, and contribute to exciting campaigns that change the conversation around climate in the US. You'll own the day-to-day operations of our CEOs for Electrification coalition, driving events and existing member relationship management. You'll participate in strategy meetings with major private sector partners, while also maintaining our systems and databases to ensure we scale effectively. You'll prioritize multiple projects and deliverables, and so cross-functional thinking and strong communication is key.

The right person for this role is a detail-oriented self-starter who feels comfortable in a startup and fast-paced environment. We are seeking someone who brings new ideas and lived experiences to the table, and is passionate about pushing our mission forward.

What You'll Do

  • Support the day to day operations of the Market Partnerships team to ensure all projects, deliverables, and events are executed flawlessly and effectively.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to triage inbound requests, maintain company relationships, and ensure that we are prioritizing the highest impact touchpoints and events.
  • Own, manage, and execute the virtual and in-person events calendar for the Market Partnerships team, including but not limited to the CEOs for Electrification Coalition and general private sector engagements.
  • Develop resources like one-pagers, decks, and spreadsheets that will assist with closing new partnership deals.
  • Help draft the monthly CEOs for Electrification newsletter.
  • Manage our Salesforce instance, ensuring accurate reporting and data cleanliness.
