- The Microsoft 365 Content Team is looking for an experienced Content Strategist to influence the collection of templates that our customers use in Microsoft 365.
- Our templates are designed to help customers get inspired, save time, and create like a pro.
- Templates play a vital role in customer perception, inspiration, engagement, and retention
- Build a foundational list of end user customer intents, mapping to audience segments and Microsoft 365 products
- Identify new content opportunities and unmet needs, leveraging your industry knowledge, cultural trends, customer research, available reports and customer signals
- Conduct ongoing industry research on social media for individual categories to inform recommendations
- Create alignment of content strategy with Jobs To Be Done framework from product teams
- ·Recommend intent coverage to inform template planning, partnering with Content & Design
We would like you to have…
5+ years in creative content publishing/management, preferably in digital media or tech industry
 Deep understanding of customer intents, social signals and cultural trends, and what makes amazing content resonate and be successfulÂ
Experience with a large digital content portfolio, including taxonomy and metadata management · Proven track record researching and using data to inform and optimize content performance · Understanding of a content pipeline and lifecycle—you know what it takes to get from ideation to delivering final assets
Preferred Skills – · Customer and data obsessed, always learning and refining to deliver user delight and business impact
Ability to switch and balance big-picture thinking and nailing the details
Ability to express ideas with clarity and drive alignment with cross-organization stakeholders
Exceptional critical-thinking skills
Proficiency with Microsoft 365/Office consumer products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and social media platforms · High degree of fluency in English language
