Market Research Associate

Enova’s hybrid work model allows employees to work in the office T, W, and TH with the option to work from home on Monday and Friday. 

Reporting to: Head of Customer Engagement and Market Intelligence

What you’ll do:

• Conduct primary and secondary research
• Develop/design research approaches that fit business issue; work across the product journey (marketing, product design and customer experience) 
• Complete all steps of research studies – design/approach, program survey, analyze data, and present to leadership  
• Be curious and explore novel research approaches that develop breakthrough insights
• Identify and study secondary data sources and produce analysis that can be used to support comprehensive market, customer and competitive insights.
• Champion the voice of the customer across the business
• Manage research vendors to optimize resources
• Produce insights and present market/competitive intelligence
• Gather and integrate information and analyses on markets, competitors, and customers to inform business decisions; make this information easily accessible for the business.
• Create relevant, revealing, and inspiring presentations
• Work across the market intelligence team to prepare industry, market and competitive intelligence assessments, with business implications and actionable recommendations; these are presented to each business four times a year.
• Monitor and report market and competitor events and implications.

You’re right for this job if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, economics, or business.
• 4+ years of experience in market research, market intelligence or financial/management/strategy consulting, preferably with some financial services experience.
• Intellectual curiosity 
• Solid understanding and experience with survey-based research, quantitative skills and mastery of key tools for competitive intelligence 
• Experience with survey platforms like Qualtrics or willingness to learn the Qualtrics platform
• Have strong analytical skills - you’re able to manipulate and analyze data in order to identify trends, solve problems, and make informed recommendations. Experience with Excel, Microstrategy or other visualization tools preferred.  SQL is a plus.
• Are an outstanding project manager - You can develop, adhere to, and communicate reasonable timelines and can manage multiple projects and work streams concurrently
