What we're looking for

A passionate market research consulting professional with a strong understanding of survey software and excellent customer-facing skill.

In this 6 month contract role, you'll report to the manager of our growing Market Research Scoping team, as part of the larger Customer Success organization. We're experts in surveys and market research, and help customers get the answers they need to solve the problems at hand.


This position is a contract role with the potential of extending past the 6 months.Β 

You will

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners for new business opportunities.Β 
  • Provide thought leadership on methodological best practices for top-tier customers
  • Manage panel scoping/bidding of all incoming client requests.
  • Conduct the scoping, feasibility and cost analysis and package detailed fielding instructions for the fielding management teamΒ 
  • Coordinate with external partners to scope professional services deliverables, when applicable.Β 
  • Coordinate with Services Delivery for scoping and assignment of professional services deliverables.Β 
  • Coordinate with panel partners to find optimum sample options.
  • Operate in a pooled support model, as a small team available across the entire sales-assisted customer base.
  • Help identify gaps in targeting availability across our existing panel partners, and product deficiencies that complicate panel scoping and execution.
  • Coordinate with post-delivery team to estimate project timelines
  • Estimate project point of contact for project escalation when rebidding projects while in field (scope changes to IR/LOI/new audience)

You have

  • 3+ years professional experience in a client-facing role
  • 3+ years of professional experience in market research or online public opinion - Ideally, you have previously worked for a survey research firm, online panel company, or other consumer insights related organization
  • Experience using DIY market research tools (including survey design and analysis)
  • Exceptional time management skills to deliver fast and competitive quotes to clients
  • Consultative selling skills and ability to show customer empathy
  • Understanding of a range of research techniques
  • Data gathering skills and market research data skills
  • You have experience solving problems in customer-facing situations
  • Knowledge of sample vendors and recruitment methodology (i.e. bidding the audience for health care professionals from a health care panel and not from the general population)
  • Experience with analytical tools such as SPSS and Excel (maintaining complex spreadsheets and functions)
  • Negotiation experience
