Description

The Market Sales Representative will be responsible for generating revenue through consultative and technical selling while providing best in class support and service. The position will be working with existing and new customers to increase sales and to promote Jasco's products and product categories

  • Meet and exceed sales quotas and assigned KPI's
  • Sell an evolving and expanding lineup of products
  • Manage accounts (existing and new) to build pipeline, track and close deals
  • Ensure continued customer satisfaction, build and maintain customer relationships and follow up with company resources to make sure after sales support is received
  • Working with third-party rep firms in the distributor channel
  • Research key accounts, identify key contacts and understand company profile, structure and sales drivers
  • Gather and communicate product requirements, features and feedback from partners to improve marketing, support and product development efforts
  • Prepare and present products, programs, and pricing in a professional manner to customers and potential customers. Evaluate customer problems and situations and identify problems, opportunities, or new products and services beneficial to the customer. Identify sales issues; develop possible solutions; and resolve appropriate.
  • Interact with customers on a daily basis and providing a level of excellence in product knowledge, consultative selling, issue resolution, and relationship development.
  • Assist with trade show preparation and attend trade shows and customer events as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Sales experience is required with preferred experience selling to home builders and/or electrical distributors.
  • The position is located in Texas.
  • Being comfortable in selling situations, with high volume outbound calls and emails with a high attention to detail are key attributes for success in this position.
  • The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that is goal oriented and emphasizes accountability for delivering results.
  • Would need to be open to traveling to work with Customer, Reps and to attend Trade Shows (2-3 a year).
  • Knowledge of Company product lines and industry trends and developments that may be reflected in proposal request, contract specifications, and industry publications a plus.
  • Skills in sales, consultation, negotiation, and cultivating client relationships.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and respond appropriately to internal and external customers.
  • Ability to read and interpret sales reports, brochures, trade journals, contracts and correspondence.
  • Ability to perform basic and advanced mathematical calculations including percentages, sales analysis, gross profits, and quotes.
  • Excellent written communication skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, CRM programs and PowerPoint.
  • Must have self-discipline to work out of home office environment. Positive, energetic attitude a must.
