Market Specialist

The Alps Alpine Groupcurrently operates 110 bases in 26 countries and regions, supplying roughly 40,000 different products and solutions to around 2,000 companies worldwide. Those offerings include devices such as switches, sensors, data communication modules, touch input panels, actuators, and power inductors; electronic shifters, remote keyless entry systems, and other automotive units; consumer electronics like car navigation and audio-visual systems; and systems and services such as digital keys based on the smartphone app and blockchain technology, and remote monitoring.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Manage the activities of the assigned functional area as directed by senior management.
2. Interact internally and externally with senior-level management requiring negotiation of difficult matters.
3. Update senior managers in various areas, groups, and/or operations on functional area goals and daily activities. Support and lead global teams when needed. Provide appropriate training and direction to all members to ensure the achievement of all goals.
4. Meet with key customers, assisting Sales Account Managers and Representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.

OTHER DUTIES

• Travel as required to support global events.
• Approve upcoming annual Sales and Expense Budget.
• Facilitate weekly sales and managers meetings.
• Develop sales strategies in coordination with product and sales teams.
• Perform other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or business or equivalent experience required
• 7 to 10 years experience in automotive sales required
• Specific knowledge of electromechanical components required
