Marketing Analyst

Job Overview

The Marketing Analyst is responsible for:

• Data analysis / validation
  • Ensure accurate data inputs and deliverables are met related to MROI modeling
  • Promote data accuracy and integrity
  • Contribute to analytics status calls
• Budget management
  • Accurately track, manage, and reconcile media budgets related to hot side PO process (Ariba & SAP system)
  • Provide monthly budget reporting inputs to brand teams
  • Support associate manager with franchise bottler co-op agreements including preparation, sending, managing special requests, saving/tracking signed contracts (Capstone system)
  • Support manager with marketing technology budget allocation, tracking and payments (Esker system)
• Reporting
  • Provide reporting as needed (IRI, Microstrategy, finance) to inform presentation decks, budget trackers, finance accrual, special projects, etc.
  • Execute monthly reconciliation of media billing and payments
• Vendor maintenance
  • Set up new vendors in Master Data as requested
  • Set up marketing commitment data for marketing contracts as needed
• Media support
  • Manage external local media buy placement to include daily monitoring the bottling system email boxes for buy submission and input of those buys into the MediaOcean software system
  • Contribute to national agency status calls and media budget review calls
  • Work with media agency to ensure timely delivery of monthly flowcharts and communication of flowcharts to the media and brand teams
  • Assist associate manager with monthly invoice processing/tracking for national agency and in-house media as needed
• Strategic Initiative team support
  • Collaborate and assist the in the development of presentations for executive meetings, analysis, Sales Meeting, marketing "change management" related presentation support, brand team support, and training initiatives
  • Assist in leading the monthly operating process, including standard reports and standing operating meetings (MOR, monthly score-carding, IRI engagement, QBRs
• Process improvement / Project management
  • Continually look for ways to streamline processes across both hot and cold systems to elevate the team's ability to operate in a highly efficient manner
  • Build, develop and grow relationships with stakeholders in all departments including Brand, Finance, Commercial, Planning/Analytics, etc
  • Demonstrate project management skills by adhering to various weekly, monthly, and quarterly deadlines with regard to financial reporting and data analysis/inputs
• Provide overall back-up to media analytics and strategic initiatives team and assistance on various projects as needed

• Bachelor's Degree required (Marketing, Business or Finance preferred)
• 1-2 years experience
• Microsoft Office Suite (strong Excel skills)
