The Analyst Marketing - Champion, will report to the Sr. Brand Marketing Manager - Champion, and will be based in our company headquarters in Winston-Salem, N.C. This role is an important component of the brand team supporting designated brand marketing efforts. They will be responsible for helping implement brand strategy and brand guardrails, executing marketing plans (both media buys and brand programs), and working closely cross-functionally (with product management teams, customer sales teams, DTC teams) and with outside agencies to drive success for the Global Champion brand, which does $1.8 billion in sales annually.

Responsibilities include executing various marketing projects while supporting the Sr. Brand Marketing Manager on campaigns and brand management duties. The role will also provide support for marketing media budgets, including managing monthly billing and reporting, and establishing accruals as needed. Works closely across the Champion brand team on sample needs for influencers, seeding, photoshoots, and ad hoc product sample requests. Executes and communicates effectively/responsibly in a team oriented environment. Additionally, this role provides administrative support as needed to the leaders of the Champion Growth Teams. This individual must be analytical, a self-starter, a collaborator, a good communicator and have a strong desire to learn the business. This position requires a growth mindset.

Responsibilities
  • Participates in the development of annual and long-range marketing strategies and integrated communication plans to achieve brand sales, growth and equity objectives
  • Champion Brand Team financial support: Track and monitor monthly invoices, ensuring approved spending aligns with financial plans, submit PO requests in Lawson, and manages monthly accrual process.
  • Manages special projects as assigned.
  • Own seasonal and ad hoc sample requests for influencers, seeding, photoshoots, events, etc.
  • Effectively organizes and executes communication with various functional areas and outside agencies regarding assigned projects
  • Administrative support to group leads for Brand Marketing: including meeting planning, calendar management, travel planning and other administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Support Champion's Go to Market execution by helping to track key cross functional milestones to ensure marketing stories are developed in parallel to product development prior to sell-in.
  • Assist the Sr. Brand Marketing Manager in coordinating marketing communications
  • Supports internal and external stakeholders to develop impactful creative and content while ensuring marketing consistency across consumer touchpoints
  • Researches industry trends, competitive activities and new technology, regularly sharing knowledge with colleagues

Qualifications

Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required. MBA a plus but not required
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant work experience required. Experience on the agency side or CPG brand management, as well as apparel or athletic product background helpful.
  • Keen attention to detail; strong multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Analyzes data from internal and syndicated sources to monitor marketplace trends and to support strategies to drive the brand.
  • Effectively organizes and executes communication with various cross-functional teams within HBI.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functional team interaction will be an important component of the position
  • Utilizes various data sources as well as overall marketplace insights to contribute to developing programs/initiatives to drive the brand and achieve financial metrics.
  • Computer skills, including an advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must subscribe to and exhibit highest standards of business ethics.
  • Demonstrate ability to take initiative and possess strong sense of urgency
