You are a person who likes to understand the "why" behind data and leverage your intuition to guide other analyses.  You are always curious to learn more and not afraid to dig into models and systems to streamline calculations and processes and find the best solution to a problem. You value diversity and build / maintain relationships based on honesty and trust.  In addition, all Interns participate in a structured Gas South Intern Program which provides ongoing development training, teambuilding activities and assessments to support your professional growth at Gas South and beyond.

Other stuff we like:

  • Rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a data driven field Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Marketing or Business/Management.
  • Quantitative analytical skills, such as the ability to handle, interpret and translate studies of numbers and data.
  • Ability to run, maintain and modify the existing tools and Excel models as well as build and develop new ones.
  • Demonstrated excellent working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent academic record with a quantitative or math-based degree
  • Some programming experience or understanding of programming logic (VB, SQL, Python, etc.) is preferred
