Summary
About the position: Marketing Department at Kirtland AFB, NM.
The position will be filled as a Regular Full-Time employment category. Regular Full-Time employment guarantees a minimum of 35 hours/week and may be eligible for NAF benefits programs such as Health/Dental, Group Life, AF NAF 401(k), and AF NAF Retirement.
This position is eligible for situational telework.

- This position requires the incumbent to Satisfactory completion of a Tier 1 (T1) background investigation with favorable determination.
- This position requires the incumbent to possess and maintain a valid driverβs license and good driving record.
- This position is a drug-testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
- This position requires the incumbent to satisfactorily complete pre-employment physical exam.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
- Must have experience or education which demonstrates skills in designing advertisements and marketing for events/programs using design/publishing software such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, or similar.
- Applicant must have the ability to design and layout advertisement copy from several of the programs listed.
- Must be organized, demonstrate attention to detail, and able to accomplish multiple tasks within deadlines.
- Must be able to produce copywriting without grammatical errors and be efficient with Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Must possess skill in dealing with customers and the public.
- Must be physically able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.

- U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.
