The Marketing and Communications Analyst produces well-written, accurate, and compelling content for TCGs internal and external publications. They help inform and implement marketing strategies, bring new ideas to the table, and identify ways to improve existing processes. U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status and the ability to obtain a clearance from the United States Federal government are required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Content Creation and Refinement

• Brainstorm feature stories and thought leadership content in collaboration with teams across the organization.
• Translate complex ideas from business management and IT into clear, compelling prose for the intended audience. Should be comfortable writing across a number of business-writing formats including:
  • Press releases/news announcements
  • Blog posts
  • Case studies
  • White papers
  • Static web content concerning company mission, benefits, culture, and capabilities
  • Social media posts
• Work with graphic designers, web developers, and other creatives to guide the direction of marketing collateral that is consistent with TCG's brand.
• Provide Business Development with appropriate tools, materials, presentations, and leads to new opportunities.
• Post content to social media accounts and monitor traffic.

Analytics and Strategy

• Analyze and assess data from Google Ads, social media traffic, and other sources to inform marketing strategy.
• Undertake continuous analysis of the competitive environment and consumer trends.
• Track social media trends to inform TCG's social media strategy.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• At least 4 years of experience
• An understanding of communication and brand development
• Excellent written and spoken English communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with white papers, case studies, and other forms of business writing
• Proficiency in grammar, spelling, and punctuation, with accurate proofreading skills
• Highly organized and impeccable time management
• Critical and analytical thinking

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Familiarity with Associated Press and Government Publishing Office style guides
• Experience with online reputation management and professional use of social media
• Experience in the following toolsets:
