The opportunity.

Trumid is looking for an experienced Marketing and Communications Director to help develop and evolve our marketing and communication strategies. An expert storyteller with a proven-track record of thriving in a creative and fast-growing dynamic environment.

Reporting to the Head of Communications and Marketing, you will work closely with senior management, product, and sales to help cultivate our client experience, elevating our brand and voice across all distribution channels. This is an exciting opportunity to bring fresh thinking and a different perspective, engaging employees, institutional clients, shareholders, and the market-at-large through memorable and impactful marketing and communications.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Championing the Trumid brand and voice, ensuring consistency both internally and externally
  • Developing a deep understanding of Trumid’s products and client workflows
  • Consistently analyzing industry and market trends to shape content and messaging as the business grows and expands
  • Leading commercially aligned marketing and communication plans via an integrated multi-channel approach
  • Content marketing and storytelling in-support of Trumid’s end-to-end value proposition
  • Creating and executing compelling communication strategies with written content that leverages industry best practices and profiles the company ethos
  • Ensuring a culture of metrics driven marketing; measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and tactics
  • Cultivating trusted and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Developing agency and external vendor relationships in support of business goals

About you.

Self-driven and a quick learner with an ability to independently prioritize and adapt. Creative and proactive, a team-player who embraces change, and can successfully collaborate to drive results. Client orientated with a focus on user engagement. A passion for learning and making a difference is a must.

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in the financial markets. (Fintech and/or credit background a plus)
  • Expert storyteller and writer: an ability to connect with an audience, targeting business goals, metrics, and results
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with expertise in content creation and distribution across social and web platforms, product marketing, media, and long-form thought leadership. (PR and/or marketing agency experience a plus)
  • Proven success in leading strategic and tactical brand and product campaigns, both domestically and internationally (muti-asset class experience a plus)
  • Deep analytical skills: passion for data-driven marketing with experience in the application of marketing technology tools
  • Change-oriented and curious, with a desire to continuously learn and grow
  • Strong project management skills – can meet multiple tight deadlines, prioritize, and execute efficiently when priorities shift
  • Executive presence - partner with senior management, acting as both a trusted advisor and execution orientated

Trumid is an equal opportunity employer.
In compliance with New York City Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role in New York City is between $200,000 - $250,000. This range does not include discretionary bonus or other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with this job. Several factors are considered when determining a candidate’s compensation.
