Marketing and Communications Specialist

GAMA-1 Technologies is seeking a part-time junior Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for a creative and organized individual who excels in developing engaging marketing materials and managing digital content. The position offers the flexibility of remote work and requires a commitment of not to exceed 60 hours month. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Marketing Material Development: 

• Identify and characterize target Federal markets and develop marketing campaigns 

• Develop and revise key messaging in accordance with evolving GAMA-1 strategic planning 

• Design and develop brochures, presentations, and other marketing collateral to effectively communicate our services and achievements. 

2. Graphics Support: 

• Design graphics for marketing materials, presentations, proposals, and social media, maintaining brand consistency. 

3. Social Media Management: 

• Manage and schedule social media posts, including developing graphics and written content that aligns with our marketing strategy. 

4. Administrative Quality Management Support: 

• Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Business Lead and internal Quality Manager to develop and update marketing and communication processes that align with ISO certifications and quality management standards. 

Qualifications: 

• Proven experience in marketing and communications, preferably in the technology or government contracting sectors. 

• Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, PhotoShop) and content management systems. 

• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create clear and engaging content. 

• Experience with social media management and digital marketing strategies. 

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
• Knowledge of marketing automation tools like AI tools.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Collaborate with the internal Quality Manager to develop and update marketing and communication processes that align with ISO certifications and quality management standards. 
• Oversee content updates and enhancements on the company website, ensuring information is current and accurately reflects our capabilities.
