LOCATION: Local to Gainesville, FL (needed for coordinated shipping and receiving of marketing materials)

SUMMARY OF POSITION

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our growing Marketing team at Meteor Education. Marketing serves as the face of our company, coordinating and producing all materials representing the brand and the business. We partner with teams across the company to develop marketing assets and campaigns that help to drive our sales and revenue. As the Marketing and Content Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting these efforts to promote our brand, products, and services through content, collateral, and digital marketing. This impactful role requires a blend of creativity, organization, and communication skills to contribute to the development and execution of successful marketing initiatives.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES• Assist in the planning, execution, tracking, and communication of marketing campaigns/projects across various channels, including digital, print, and more.• Maintain content, campaign and communications calendar.• Serve as a project manager for campaign and content requests including organizing team tasks in Asana, taking notes, updating task deadlines and details, and updating calendars.• Keep collateral and marketing assets up to date for sharing on company Sharepoint site. • Support the creation and distribution of marketing newsletter to internal teams.• Assist in developing marketing metrics reports. • Contribute as needed to developing content for and implementing social media post, emails and website updates. • Develop expense reports accurately and on-time to track costs and support budget management.• Support team members with other initiatives to test and scale marketing impact.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field• 2+ years of experience in marketing • Experience in deadline and project coordination, ideally including using project management programs such as Asana• Detail oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities• Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience with marketing platforms such as Hootsuite, Loomly, Google Analytics, Hubspot, Mailchimp, SugarMarket • Familiarity with social media platforms and/or website content tools a plus• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint)• Ability to collaborate and partner with stakeholders on different teams • Graphic design skills and basic experience in Adobe Creative Suite products (specifically Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat) are a plus
