SUMMARY

The Marketing and Content Specialist is responsible for creating, coordinating, and executing marketing and content strategies that align with the marketing goals of Arete. They will work closely with the marketing team to create content, identify target audiences, and develop campaigns that engage, inform and motivate customers. The Marketing and Content Specialist will also be responsible for creating and managing content for various channels such as social media, email marketing, and the company website.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify target audiences and develop campaigns that engage, inform and motivate customers.
  • Create content and coordinate the production of marketing materials, including:
    • Product/services collateral
    • Website copy
    • Invitations for events
    • Threat Intel Newsletter and other client correspondence
    • Press releases
    • Blogs in collaboration with Arete experts
    • White papers in collaboration with Arete experts
    • Internal communications, such as the company newsletter
    • Presentations
    • Case Studies
  • Develop expertise on Arete's capabilities, differentiation, and messaging to core audiences.
  • Coordinate with designers and other content creators to ensure deadlines are met, and content is delivered on time.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as the Sales department, to ensure that marketing initiatives are aligned with overall business goals.
  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all communication channels, including social media, email, website, and other marketing materials.
  • Create and manage marketing campaigns.
  • Measure and analyze marketing performance to evaluate the success of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Support the marketing team by assisting with planning and hosting marketing events.
  • Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to create effective marketing plans.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by management.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Strong project management skills and the ability to multitask. Creative and innovative thinker. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Understanding of SEO, SEM, and content marketing best practices.

JOB REQUIRMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing or content development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with social media management and email marketing platforms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with data analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with Arete salary and benefit policy.

FLSA OVERTIME CATEGORY

Job is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
