Marketing Assistant

Piatt Sotheby’s International Realty is seeking a talented Marketing Assistant to join our team. This full-time position will update marketing content and communicate through digital, electronic and print media. Piatt Sotheby’s International Realty serves the residential real estate market in the Greater Pittsburgh area, offering high-level professional services and world class international marketing programs. 

Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro) to update print collateral (e.g. postcards, booklets, fact sheets, etc)
• Utilize MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) to proofread written content, create/update spreadsheet contact lists, etc.
• Prepare print collateral (flyers, brochures, booklets) using in-office printer, binding machines, supplies etc.
• Update property flyers and brochures (InDesign)
• Understand brokerage print advertising deadlines and assist in creating print ads
• Manage & send property mailers (InDesign)
• Update branded graphics as requested (InDesign, Photoshop)
• Assist marketing department with related requests
• Create and send compelling email marketing campaigns
• Understand and implement brand standards
• Brainstorm ideas for creative marketing campaigns
• Courier printed marketing materials from office to office
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

• Highly organized, strong presentation and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Adobe suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro)
• In-depth knowledge of the media landscape
• Independent and self-motivated
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Knowledge or relevant marketing tools and platforms
• Understanding of design and aesthetics
• Experience in real estate is ideal, but not required
• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends to accommodate clients
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation necessary, as this position travels to different locations on occasion

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• A minimum of 1-2 years experience using software platforms including Adobe Suite
