Marketing Assistant
Job Description
Job responsibilities for this position includes but not limited to:
• Support the marketing team with planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing campaigns.
• Assist with the production of marketing materials and collateral.
• Help organize and coordinate marketing events such as conferences, webinars, and fairs.
• Evaluate data and create reports on key metrics to monitor campaign efficiency and analyze trends.
• Write and edit content for different platforms such as social media, website, and press releases.
• Provide administrative and project support for a variety of marketing programs.
• Manages editorial calendars and writes and edits content for digital projects for internal and external audiences.
• Effectively manage allocated budget for digital marketing.
• Perform market and client research.
• Analyzes research and metrics to inform and plan digital media strategy and ensure campaigns are generating the appropriate traffic and running effectively.
• Plans, creates, and recommends effective digital and social media strategies in support of the institution's marketing and business development initiatives.
• Utilizes analytics tools to continuously improve user experience. Uses analytics to create effective content.
• Assists with the analysis of market data, including campaign results, online traffic, and various other marketing programs to determine effectiveness, including ROI, to improve future marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Establishes and monitors project timelines to meet deadlines for promotional efforts/campaigns and assist with the delivery of collateral materials to support promotions and marketing functions.
• Monitor the quantity and quality of the company’s SEO efforts (on-site, off-site) and make recommendations to improve rank/performance to generate inbound qualified leads.
• Monitor analytics (traffic, engagement, conversion) and make recommendations for improving performance. Perform routine updates to the company website such as meta descriptions, image tags, copy edits, blog posts, etc.

Preferred Education and Experience
• Associate Degree in Marketing or related field
• 2+ year of experience in Marketing, social media, journalism, and/or communications
• 2+ year of marketing automation (both execution and management of automated marketing campaigns), and digital advertising execution and management (such as running Google AdWords and display advertising campaigns).
• Demonstrate experience with social media platforms
• Experience with digital advertising campaigns
• Experience with Google Analytics (Certification preferred)
• Familiarity with web design and publishing
• 1+ year of SEO experience
• Keyword research experience.
• Intermediate graphic design
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Experience with Monday.com, HubSpot, Hootsuite software and other CRM system software.
