Position Overview:

As a Marketing Associate at Cottonwood Residential, you will be an integral part of our innovative Marketing team, reporting directly to the visionary Director of Marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing cutting-edge community marketing strategies, ensuring a seamless integration across our diverse portfolio. Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Marketing: Develop and implement a dynamic marketing plan that leverages data, analytics, and collaboration with cross-functional partners to drive traffic and generate qualified leads.
• Online Presence: Manage the online brand presence, steering online creative and content development, ensuring a unified brand voice across various platforms.
• Social Media Mastery: Oversee engaging social media campaigns, connecting with our audience across different platforms.
• Creative Content Development: Execute print and online communications with flair, utilizing tools like Canva and Entrata. Create and manage visually stunning graphics, including logos, brand guides, and brochures.
• Reputation Management: Direct online reputation management efforts, setting short-term and long-term targets for enhanced online reputation.
• Content Optimization: Drive and optimize content promotion efforts, write compelling content, and ensure the highest quality through meticulous review and editing.
• Collaboration and Coordination: Work seamlessly with freelance writers, designers, and other creative professionals. Explore and engage potential partner opportunities.
• Event Planning: Take charge of trade show planning and logistics, showcasing our brand at industry events.
• Organizational Wizard: Keep tasks organized, manage multi-channel digital marketing calendars, and handle miscellaneous marketing projects with finesse.
• Best Practices Advocate: Recommend and implement best practices in a high-growth, fast-paced organization.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in Google Analytics and WordPress.
• In-depth knowledge of online marketing acquisition programs and media alternatives.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for creative marketing copywriting and editing.
• Mastery of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Outstanding organizational, marketing communications, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to compile performance analytics and adjust campaigns for optimal outcomes.
• Strong adaptability to change management and evolving responsibilities.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or five to seven years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum two years of experience in general marketing, social media, and online/digital/search marketing.
• Experience with Canva, Photoshop, or other digital marketing tools.
• Knowledge of industry trends preferred but not required.
• Prior corporate experience is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with up to 25% travel.
