Job Description
The Marketing Associate is an in-house marketer who helps promote Search Influence’s services to potential clients.

The Marketing Associate is a member of Search Influence’s Sales & Marketing Team and supports bringing in new leads and new revenue to the company. This position supports the marketing strategy and tactics that drive interest in the company as well as provides administrative support to the team and the new client process.
The ideal candidate is a creative and analytical thinker, excellent written and verbal communicator, and strong project manager.
As a Marketing Associate, you will enjoy:
Insight into the full B2B marketing funnel: Support and drive action from potential clients from awareness through decision, and understand the impact of your work through ongoing review of marketing analytics.
Creative and data-driven writing: Leverage both creative thinking and data to write and edit compelling marketing copy that speaks to the target audience for various media including emails, landing pages, and social media
Contributing to marketing success: Assist and manage segments of our overall marketing strategy to drive leads.
Analytics & reporting exposure: Pull and analyze data to provide insights to the team to improve performance.
Creating compelling stories: Organize inputs to shape compelling stories about Search Influence’s capabilities through presentations, proposals, and other client-facing materials.
Ownership over projects: Create and manage timelines of projects and tasks for marketing of Search Influence.Â
Understanding of our target audience and inbound leads: Process and qualify inbound leads, and sets meetings when necessary.
Development of CRM expertise: Manages and implements marketing efforts through Hubspot CRM.
Frequent communication to stay in-touch and on-task: As a fully remote team, our well-established routine of daily huddles and team collaboration via Zoom assure we stay frequently in-touch and always on-task, all while having fun.Â
Mentorship & skill development: Every team member has access to a mentor from another part of the organization and ongoing 1on1s with their direct manager, supporting growth and skill development. Employees are encouraged to complete certifications relevant to their work.
Team-oriented atmosphere: Daily and weekly team meetings contribute to frequent and collaborative discussion of how we can all improve together.
Training & tools: We provide training on both our services and our sales process, as well as tools to make your job efficient including a user-friendly CRM.

To Snag This Job You Must Have:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a professional marketing role
- Creative and analytical thinking skills
- Strong writing and editing abilities
- Effective project management abilities, including organizational and follow-through skills
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, verbal and written

- High level of computer proficiency (including Mac, Google Docs, Google Sheets, & Google Slides or equivalent)
Bonus Points if You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business or other related discipline or a commensurate level of experience
- Familiarity with a customer relationship management (CRM) and / or task management system preferred (Hubspot, SalesForce, SugarCRM, Basecamp)
- Knowledge of digital marketing
- B2B marketing experienceÂ
