Marketing Associate - On Campus
Job Description
Our Client is a mutlinational education firm that specializes in U.S. immigration matters, international tax planning, real estate law and a broad range of commercial transactions. They are looking for several organized and dynamic Marketing Associates to support the growing legal team in the US. The associates will work on campus or relocate to New York/LA office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research on career development needs of Chinese students; analyze, summarize, and make initials based on research results
- Design and make proposals for on-campus marketing activities
- Plan and execute online and off-line promotions; develop close relationships with local CSSA or other student associations
- Coordinate on-campus activities with other team members while utilizing company resources efficiently and effectively
- Communicate with team members on a regular basis; strive to reach monthly goals
- Collect and build a Resume Book among students; engage students in career opportunities
- Assist attorneys in gathering pertinent data, documents, and records, and with case management, calendaring, and preparation for hearings and depositions; assist with the preparation and filing of pleadings and briefs, including proofreading, editing, fact-checking, and adherence to citation guidelines
- Prepare filings of US non-immigrant visa and US immigrant visa
- Perform research in both internal and external databases; analyze and summarize findings to better prepare attorneys in answering legal questions
- Draft applications, responses to requests for information, extension requests, etc.
- Research on periodic changes in business immigration, estate, trust, insurance and tax laws
- Communicate with attorneys, clients, and consultants on different legal matters
- Create and deliver legal training to business & marketing teams
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree from a 4-year accredited college or university; Advanced degree or Paralegal certificate is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin
- Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented
- Minimum of 1-year experience as a paralegal in a law firm or state/regulatory agencies
- Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
- Punctual and reliable
