NHA (National Healthcareer Association) is a growing business in Ascend Healthcare with the mission to help our professionals access a better future. We are searching for an experienced Marketing Automation Manager with innovative thinking and an ownership attitude. The Automation Manager will know our customers deeply and will be a power user of the marketing technology stack that is utilized to drive effective and innovative digital strategy. They will collaborate with marketing, sales and customer experience to continually demonstrate the impact our solutions have on successfully preparing the next generation of allied health professionals.

Job Overview

As the Marketing Automation Manager, you will manage nurture, upsell and engagement campaigns that will drive new business, engage existing customers and strengthen the NHA brand. You will leverage and promote the use of best practices in marketing automation and database management. As a key marketing team member, you will primarily be responsible for building and executing B2B and B2C customer journey workflows, integrating digital campaigns and implementing email automation.

Responsibilities

  • Own email lead nurture strategy, including creating workflows, integrating SMS messaging and meeting business goals.
  • Develop B2B onboarding, cross-sell and retention email campaigns in alignment with overall product and business strategies.
  • Develop B2C email and SMS strategies and workflows to build a long-term connection with our allied health professionals.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing Managers, Content & Communication Manager and Customer Experience in developing B2B and B2C
  • Establish KPIs, set up tagging/tracking, monitor performance, implement tests, and make data-driven optimization recommendations.
  • Develop email campaigns including editorial planning, testing, data segmentation, deployment, and performance analysis.
  • Clean, maintain and manage HubSpot database including reducing duplicate data, carrying out system contact maintenance, implementing re-engagement campaigns, reducing spam/bot contacts, and maintaining positive email health.
  • Manage data flow to and from HubSpot and NHA's other platforms (Microsoft D365, Cert Portal, etc.), including data governance, documentation and integrity.
  • Build and interpret HubSpot reports and dashboards to help make data-informed business decisions.
  • Stay current and well-versed in data privacy laws, such as CAN-SPAM, CASL, and GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and partner with proper channels to ensure compliance, as required.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • 4+ years of technology-driven marketing automation experience (HubSpot preferred)
  • Strong HTML, Excel and project management skills required.
  • Experience in creating and using automated workflows for emails, text messaging and nurturing
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (D365) and Google Analytics is a plus
