As the Marketing Automation Manager at 7shifts, you will be responsible for developing marketing technology and campaigns that drive business results across the customer lifecycle. Reporting into the Sr. Manager, Marketing Operations, you’ll implement, develop and optimize industry leading tools such as Marketo, AppCues, Drift, Outreach, and Dreamdata to drive business impact and foster 7shifts’s mission to simplify team management for restaurants. You’ll act as the technical expert for channels like Email/Chat/In-App/SMS and identify trends and opportunities that will unlock new opportunities for growth across the Marketing team.

What you’ll do:
- Build integrated, data-driven marketing automation programs and workflows across all channels to drive business results across the customer lifecycle
- Drive the implementation, adoption and development of marketing technology to improve efficiencies and drive growth
- Enable the Lifecycle Marketing team to build and send campaigns within our tech stack, guiding on best practices around segmentation, triggering, cadence, etc.
- Lead data cleansing, QA, and compliance in order to ensure the integrity of 7shifts marketing campaigns
- Develop and analyze campaign performance reporting, identifying areas for testing and improvement for future campaigns
- Work closely with RevOps and Data to ensure technology is integrated across the company’s wider ecosystem
What you bring:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience managing Marketing Automation platforms (Marketo preferred)
- Proven experience building and optimizing integrated campaigns across marketing channels such as Email/Chat/In-App/SMS
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills - you can develop actionable insights across the marketing lifecycle
- Excellent project manager, communication and organizational skills are your superpowers
- Experience working cross-functionally with RevOps, Sales & Product teams
- Strong knowledge of compliance with personal data privacy laws, such as CASL, CAN-SPAM, and GDPR
It’d be even cooler if you had:
- Marketo certification
- Experience with product-led growth (PLG)
- Proficiency with Salesforce and data management platforms
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SQL
