ExamFX, a division of Ascend Learning, helps insurance and financial services companies license their employees. They are the industry leader in online training and assessment for Professional Pre-Licensing in Insurance and Securities exams.

Position Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Automation Manager is a power user of the marketing technology stack that is utilized to drive effective and innovative digital strategy. As a key member of the marketing team you will be primarily responsible for building and executing customer journey workflows, integrating digital campaigns, implementing email automation, and analyzing campaign and website performance across all channels.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Own lead nurture strategy including lead scoring and grading, lead routing rules, landing pages, ad hoc email campaigns, and webinar programs to meet new business goals, cross-sell, and retain current clients
  • Establish KPIs, set up tagging/tracking, monitor performance, implement tests, and make data-driven optimization recommendations
  • End-to-end email campaign development: editorial planning, HTML creation, testing, data segmentation, deployment, and performance analysis
  • Manage data flow between Hubspot and Salesforce including data governance and documentation
  • Have an eye for design and implement strategies to improve UX across all platforms
  • Ability to build and interpret dashboards to help make data informed business decisions
  • Stay current and well-versed in data privacy laws, such as CAN-SPAM, CASL, and GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and partner with proper channels to ensure compliance when required

Required Education, Experience/Skills

  • BA/BS or equivalent, plus 4+ years of technology-driven marketing experience (Hubspot preferred).
  • Strong HTML, Excel, and project management skills required. Experience with Salesforce, Photoshop, and Google Analytics is a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment without sacrificing attention to detail
  • Work as part of a valued member of a lean marketing team but also thrive independently
