The Marketing Automation Senior or Director leads the execution and delivery of digital marketing activities across CLA. They manage the overall marketing automation platform including data management, workflows, automations, and campaign execution.

This individual should have a thorough understanding of the business, the industry, competitors, and business model. The role is responsible for the ideation, execution, and measurement of the different tactics and activities across all marketing channels. This includes managing email marketing, lead generation and nurturing, lead scoring, and campaign analytics.

This role will also work closely with the CRM team to ensure the quality of leads and integration of data across platforms.

Essential Job Functions:

The below functions reflect the general details of the essential work activities and accountabilities of this position and are not all inclusive. Other activities may be assigned.

Build out and implement MA platform in concert with stakeholders, then:
  • Execute and manage digital marketing activities
  • Manage email marketing and cross channel campaigns
  • Optimize lead generation and nurturing; ensure web forms capture appropriate information
  • Develop and optimize lead scoring model
  • Manage MA platform
  • Manage end-to-end campaign workflows
  • Manage campaign analysis and reporting
  • Monitor budget distribution and performance of paid ad campaigns
  • Work with CRM to ensure quality leads
  • Manage data integrity across MA and CRM platforms
  • Ensure segmentation schema aligns with business needs
  • Develop and manage trigger-based activities
  • Manage third party data integrations

Requirements:

Experience:
  • Five-plus years' experience managing multiple marketing automation and CRM platforms, including background in implementing marketing and campaign strategies.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, computer science, business, information technology, communications, or a related field. A combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

Certifications / Licenses:
  • Certification in MS D365 or other MA platforms a plus.

Technical Competencies
  • Marketing Automation solutions management - HubSpot, Marketo, ClickDimensions, MS D365

Organizational Interfaces
  • The Marketing Automation Senior or Director will be part of a project team with primary line of reporting to the Director of Marketing - Communications and works closely with joint Marketing/IT project team.

Travel Requirements
  • This position requires frequent local travel to/from client sites and may require occasional non-local or overnight travel for client visits, training, meetings and/or other business-related purposes.
