Marketing Automation Specialist
Job Description
Location: Onsite
The Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for supporting the Marketing Operations team with implementation and optimization of all digital campaigns to drive brand awareness, prospective customer engagement and product attachment.
The Digital Marketing Specialist will work closely with the marketing and communications team to strategize, implement, and monitor campaigns that support brand and program marketing goals. The candidate will also collaborate with key functional areas to optimize campaigns as needed to improve performance and maintain a consistent experience throughout the customer lifecycle. As a CRM champion and super user, the candidate will serve as a liaison to front line staff maintaining the CRM and as a resource for reporting and user questions.
The ideal candidate will have great cross-functional experience, a proven track record of practical execution, superior analytical skills and the ability to optimize projects in real time.
Responsibilities:
- Manage new content marketing activities to build brand eminence, awareness, and support sales engagement efforts
- Own automation execution --- write, build, QA, deploy and monitor marketing campaigns and ongoing nurture flows
- Work with cross-functional team to conceptualize and implement promotional emails, automated flows, and other D2C campaigns as needed including optimization plans relating to A/B tests, subject lines, template creation, and more
- Develop database segmentation --- build audience lists that drive automation touchpoints and translate into a tailored campaign and program experience for audiences across specific market segments, industries, etc.
- Monitor and report on program and ecosystem health --- monitor audience and nurture counts within Hubspot to ensure systems are operating correctly and report out on automation performance and impact for tactics of all levels (ad hoc emails, email nurtures, IPM flows)
- Build and manage reports and dashboards to socialize key insights and takeaways across the business
- Identify areas of opportunity --- develop automation-focused testing opportunities that strive to improve campaign results and meet KPIs
- Conduct client-facing events for branding, growing a community of interest, and generating revenue
- Plan, coordinate production, facilitate engagement, assist in program production and lead generation activities, including webinars and live events (LinkedIn Live, Facebook Live, YouTube Live)
- Coordinate with partners as needed to ensure optimal performance
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in an analytics role, business strategy, marketing, or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience with Hubspot Administration, including user set up, configuration of workflows, and processes
- Experience in reporting data and analytics
- Understanding of lead flows and routing and attribution models
- Extensive experience with Google or Adobe Analytics
- Facebook/Instagram advertising experience preferred
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
- Excited about data, excels in organization, clear communication and can bring an experienced and experimental mindset to this evolving team
- Self-starter who understands how to take an idea from start to completion, or find a way to do so
- Creative and enthusiastic problem-solving skills
