About the Role

The Marketing Automation Specialist will join the Marketing team at NOCD to help deploy our new lifecycle marketing programs during an exciting period of growth. The ideal candidate for this role will be familiar with marketing automation tools -- such as Braze, Iterable, and Adobe Campaign -- and have hands on experience developing cross-channel consumer journeys. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Lifecycle Marketing, this team member will implement the delivery of email marketing, mobile push notifications, and SMS marketing efforts. This person will be responsible for planning, developing, and managing the implementation of innovative cross-channel marketing campaigns, journeys, and templates that will be used across the team in our marketing platform. As our business continues to grow quickly, this team member should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and launch dynamic cross-channel journeys using Braze to reach NOCD members before, during and after their time participating in OCD therapy
  • Regularly monitor the performance of journeys across all channels to test, optimize and scale programs based on customer engagement
  • Introduce dynamic and personalized segmentation to reach current and potential NOCD members at the right time, to help achieve monthly acquisition goals 
  • Collaborate closely with Content Marketing Writer and Lifecycle Marketing Manager to deploy against our communications and content calendar
  • Monitor and improve deliverability and database hygiene on routine basis to ensure messages are properly delivered and received by end-users
  • Work closely with data science and web engineering resources to implement necessary hooks and attributes to measure program performance
  • Leverage reporting features to report on campaign performance, A/B testing outcomes, and performance across each user journey
  • QA creatives, templates, and flows to ensure error-free deployment, and QA data points and queries for accuracy
  • Perform set-up, testing, and deployment of campaigns to ensure that campaigns are triggered as intended and that emails perform beautifully across all browsers and devices
  • Rigorously test and optimize to drive higher engagement and higher conversion
  • Leverage internal resources and platform functionality to build cross-channel campaign and automation triggers
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with internal and external resources to implement solutions

Who You Are

  • 2 - 5 years of professional experience with marketing automation tools; deep experience with Braze (formerly Appboy) is preferred
  • Understanding of marketing automation and experience with targeting, segmentation, test/control design, and campaign reporting, analytics and dashboards
  • Familiarity with email marketing concepts, development, and implementation 
  • Strong problem-solving and research skills
  • Detail-oriented with extensive time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Capability to communicate complex ideas clearly to a non-technical audience
  • Team player who is a self-starter, motivated, collaborative and driven to help us on our mission to help as many people as possible
