Marketing Automation Specialist

The Marketing Automation Specialist works with the Digital Marketing Team to continue to build and optimize the automation system. The Specialist supports the Marketing Automation Program Manager to develop and launch best-in-class marketing campaigns throughout all consumer lifecycle stages to drive member acquisition, increase product adoption, and enhance member retention efforts.

What you will do here:

Effectively manage running of the business email marketing projects, including segmentation, testing, and deployment. Identify opportunities to transition emails to automated campaigns.

Evaluate email metrics and distributes campaign performance, including ROI analysis, to the marketing team. Provide insights and recommendations to continuously improve campaigns through continual experimentation, testing, and optimization.

Support the Marketing Automation Program Manager in the configuration and implementation of the automation system, including building and optimizing trigger, nurture and drip campaigns, list management, and campaign reporting. Proactively research and implement the latest industry best practices and industry standards.

Assist in monitoring and maintaining integrations between the marketing automation platform and the CRM, CDP, and data warehouse, including managing the lead management, segmentation, and data auditing and cleansing. Support additional integrations with other technologies as needed. Identifies areas of opportunity based on current marketing technology, data, and processes.

Collaborate on the build and design of marketing campaigns and deploy campaigns across a variety of channels, including email, website, inbound, social media, etc.

Document marketing automation system processes and procedures.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

What you will need:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, IT, Business, or related field preferred or Equivalent combination of education and experience required.

2+ years of B2B Marketing experience required.

2+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry required.

Project Management experience. Ability to run multiple projects producing high quality deliverables for internal/external customers required.

Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, planning, problem solving, and organizational skills required.

Experience with marketing automation (Eloqua, HubSpot, etc.) or email marketing platforms required.

Proven experience being detailed-oriented required.

Experience with Java Script, HTML and CSS required.

Demonstrated knowledge of mobile-first design principles, CAN-SPAM compliance, privacy legislation/policies (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge of marketing analytics and campaign strategy preferred.

Proven experience using inbound, outbound, and customer marketing techniques to achieve results preferred.

Certification in one or more marketing automation platforms and/or CRM preferred.
