Job Description
Southern Veterinary Partners seeks a skilled and experienced marketer and brand ambassador to join our rapidly growing marketing team and build on our growing, industry-leading, national veterinary cardiology group (Chesapeake Valley Cardiology Associates - CVCA) as the leader in Veterinary Cardiology specialty services.
Reporting to the Director of Specialty Marketing, you will have significant interaction with the Specialty Leadership team. You will be an integral partner with the Marketing Director, and the extended Marketing team, to ensure all elements of Marketing for the Specialty Division are flawlessly implemented across 25+ specialty locations.
You will work in all aspects of marketing, including building demand generation at new (de novo) and legacy locations; managing brand leadership and awareness; and supporting customer user experience improvements with our operational team. You should come with broad marketing experience across, digital marketing, advertising, affiliate/association marketing, website design and maintenance, social media marketing, email marketing, and event management.
You should have strong experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) marketing, driving revenue through a business channel. You will be a key player in our next phase of growth by leading all marketing initiatives in existing and new growing specialty verticals. In this role, your success is based on driving and maintaining revenue accretion through a referral network of veterinarian doctors. You will need to embrace new specialty services, and agilely adapt best marketing practices to support them.
Key Responsibilities:
- B2B Marketing: Leverage B2B marketing strategies to build and maintain relationships with referral sources, including adjacent providers, to drive referrals and grow our practices.
- Digital Marketing: Develop and implement strategies for SEO and SEM to increase online visibility and attract new referrals. Manage websites and make content updates to support and grow practices.
- CRM Management: Utilize CRM platforms like Pardot or HubSpot to originate, build, and execute marketing campaigns, ensuring effective communication with both current and potential referral sources.
- Event Coordination: Plan and manage in-person events, including Continuing Education (CE) sessions and lunch/learn events, to engage and educate the veterinary community.
- Print and Direct Mail: Design and execute print and direct mail campaigns to maintain engagement and awareness among target audiences.
- Trade Show Participation: Represent our group at trade shows and industry events, enhancing our network and establishing our presence in the veterinary cardiology field.
- Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to guide strategic decisions and identify opportunities for growth.
- Performance Reporting: Regularly report on marketing activities' performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Account/Relationship Management: Work independently with specialty doctors and their teams to train and directly support marketing execution of marketing programs for their hospitals (including hospital visits, lunch & learns, social media support, local events & sponsorships);
- Vendor Management: Coordinate and manage deliverables across multiple vendors, including web, SEM, CRM, print, direct mail, event management, and others.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing, with a strong emphasis on B2B marketing, digital marketing channels, CRM management, and event planning.
- Experience in B2B marketing, preferably in a referral-driven environment or related healthcare fields.
- Proficient in using CRM platforms like Pardot or HubSpot for campaign origination and execution.
- Proficient in leveraging Paid Media, including Google and Facebook ads
- Experience with digital marketing analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics,
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with a variety of audiences.
- Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and strategy development.
- Must be able to work a hybrid schedule
Skills:
- Deep understanding of SEO, SEM, and digital advertising strategies.
- Experience organizing and executing in-person events and trade shows.
- Ability to create compelling print and direct mail materials.
- Proven track record in developing successful B2B marketing strategies.
