Launched in 2018, CAMP operates eight retail locations in Atlanta, California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York and Texas and serves families everywhere via its digital platforms.
What is the Role?
CAMP is looking for a Marketing Campaign Manager. This role reports to the Director of Marketing and your goal will be to ensure every aspect of a campaign is delivered in a timely manner and excellently executed. Campaigns at CAMP include: new show launches (such as CAMP X Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Nike Kids Camp, and others), Merchandise promotions (such as Summer Sales or Back to School), Holiday preparation (helping to get Camp.com ready for an annual toy blitz), and more!
The right person in this role will be comfortable in a fast-paced, agile environment, will bring energy, passion, & order to everything you do, & will not be afraid to roll up your sleeves to tackle projects both big & small. This is a cross-functional role with the objective of keeping marketing deliverables on time and executing campaigns across multiple business pillars: creative, merch, growth, press, and opps. The right candidate is extremely organized, detail oriented, comfortable working cross-departmentally. One day, you may be writing creative briefs for the creative team, and another day you may be working with the merchandising team on product launch timelines. No day in this role is “an average day”, so candidates should be fast learners and be capable of juggling multiple projects at once.
What will you do at CAMP?
Campaign Management
- Create and maintain go-to-market decks for marketing campaigns across new experience launches, new merch launches, and as needed on partnership projects.
- Create decks with all pertaintaint milestones, assign out elements to internal stakeholders.
- Update and communicate out timelines and deadlines to internal and external stakeholders.
- Schedule and run meetings to review go-to-market plans as needed with the goal of creating cross-departmental alignment, addressing any conflicting issues in a timely manner and by taking the initiative to raise any issues or missed deadlines immediately in the appropriate channels with the appropriate team members.
- Submit detailed, creative briefs to the creative team that outline the marketing objectives, copy needs, and all design spec details.
- Circulate creative assets to stakeholders for feedback and approval. Provide constructive and organized feedback to achieve the campaign's KPIs.
- Once approved, accountable for either publishing creative assets live or delivering to the appropriate team member or department.
Merch and eCommerce Marketing
- Work closely with the merchandising team to submit creative briefs that support merchandising across retail stores and ecommerce with the objective of meeting sell through goals.
- Ensure success of merch marketing with end-to-end merch campaigns that entail ecommerce site management including sorting shopify merch collections to prioritize top/featured products, highlighting appropriate products in editorial spots, and optimizing landing pages to best tell the marketing story.
What will you bring to CAMP?
- 3+ years of work experience in marketing, creative project management, or agency work
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive & be highly effective in a fast-paced & fluid environment, as well as situations of ambiguity & uncertainty
- Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders across different departments
- Proven creative problem-solving skills
- Extremely detail oriented, diligent & thorough
- Holding yourself & team to high standards
- Ability to prioritize demands & meet deadlines
- Master in organization, time management, project management and multitasking
- Proficiency with Google Suite: Slides/Docs/Sheets and Excel.
- Experience with project management tool, specifically, Monday.com is a plus
- Experience with shopify or other digital ecommerce platform preferred
- Experience working with creative teams, writing creative briefs, and ideally file management
- Passionate about delivering memorable experiences to families
