Marketing Communications Coordinator

About this role:

Lockton is looking to add a Marketing Coordinator to a dynamic group of empowered Associates on the Brand & Communications team. This role will execute a variety of marketing and communications activities in support of the business while supporting cross functional members of the team. This full-time position will report directly to the Communications Manager and will be based in Kansas City.

Your responsibilities:

• Edit and distribute marketing and thought leadership content, including white papers, success stories, sales tools, videos, etc. through a monthly client newsletter.

• Provide support for communications and content delivery.

• Work closely with the Internal Communications Manager to own Lockton's internal communications platforms and channels.

• Support tracking and process improvement efforts for marketing and communications team.

• Assist team with updates to emerging media and development of new channels as they become available.

• Interface with internal design team for creative production, as needed.

• Provide marketing and communications support for local offices, as needed.

• Successfully manage multiple and concurrent projects, priorities and tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, English or other related field required.

• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in marketing and communications.

• Strong interpersonal skills, adaptable, self-motivated, flexible team player.

• Experience in marketing communications, sales support, social media and the web.

• Excellent eye for detail and creativity, paired with sharp writing and editing skills.

• Ability to work with high energy in a fast-paced environment.

• Advanced user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
