Purpose of the Role:

As our Marketing Communications Coordinator, you’re an integral part of the Communications / Corporate Relations Team, working closely with the Demand Generation and Brand Teams to effectively support the development and delivery of the company’s messages to various audiences. You expertly execute marketing initiatives, ranging from coordinating content and communications to posting and distributing the finished product. 

This position will operate on a hybrid working schedule in either Vancouver or Toronto.

Core Responsibilities:

• Support researching, drafting, producing, and distributing diverse content and material for internal and external publications, digital, and print communication channels.  
• Coordinate and schedule content production with external partners. 
• Contribute to creating and maintaining the marketing content calendar. 
• Manage website content including posting and maintaining online bios and editorial content. 
• Maintain the Marketing SharePoint site and Communications filing system.
• Build ad hoc email campaigns in MailChimp. 
• Build performance reports for ad hoc email campaigns and communications initiatives in collaboration with Demand Generation. 
• Support and coordinate design needs in collaboration with the Brand team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in communications, journalism, or a related field.  
• 2+ years of relevant work experience. 
• Essential to be fluent in English, both verbal and written (including document drafting and editing).
• Self-starter, able to analyze processes and recognize opportunities for improvement.  
• Easily builds strong working relationships and collaborates with others. 
• Proficiency in MailChimp, Marketo, Salesforce, DatoCMS, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and marketing automation software is an asset. 

Compensation & Benefits Package:

This position comes with a base salary range of $51,000-$65,000 plus a competitive performance bonus, RRSP contribution and participation in our profit-sharing program. Base salary will be commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.
