This role will be joining the Silicon Products Group Marketing organization, focused on further establishing Applied Materials' technology brand both externally and internally. A successful candidate would possess the inquisitiveness and curiosity to understand the products we develop and then ascertain the inherent value and how best to communicate that value through various communication styles and collateral. Must possess strong organizational, communication, creativity, and visual graphic skills. This is an entry to intermediate level position where you will have the resources you need to succeed and opportunities to grow your skillsets, knowledge, and career within a diverse, highly motivated, and deeply supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops regular to moderately difficult short and long term company communication strategies to promote company products to investors and customers.

• Builds PR campaigns, ads, tradeshows, magazine articles, new product launches and content for web sites.

• Recommends the media best suited to sell specific products or Marketing Communications services.

• Interacts with vendors to produce promotional Marketing Communications materials.

• Develops internal communication plans and messaging on biz operations, progress to key growth initiatives to all employees through internal website postings & videos.

Functional Knowledge

• Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within a discipline

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 family of products (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Sharepoint , Onedrive, Forms, etc.)

• Familiarity with graphics software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite or equivalents) a plus

• Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience

• No supervisory responsibilities; accountable for developing technical contribution

• Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems; analyzes information and standard practices to make judgments

U.S. Salary Range:

$68,000.00 - $93,500.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
