Marketing Communications & Industry Engagement Senior Manager

Position Purpose: Lead key strategic programs for the Marketing organization, including Industry Engagement for the marketing department.

• Devise and execute communication strategies to elevate and position the Centene Marketing organization in support of corporate reputation and talent attraction
• Generate, edit, and publish content (including original text, images, video) that builds meaningful customer connections, increases brand awareness, and encourages community members to engage with the brand
• Maintain regular cadence of visibility moments that elevate industry presence
• Create and curate strategic cadence of stories and thought leadership around key Centene Marketing developments via social media curation and content development, with a special focus on supporting content needs for senior leadership team
• Identify and cultivate industry memberships and associations to drive visibility and increase Marketing team participation
• Research and recommend industry participation strategies for Marketing organization: speaking/panel opportunities, committee memberships, conference participation, industry awards and recognition
• Provide thought leadership pertaining to current industry trends and recommend / incorporate into our engagement strategy
• Leverage industry memberships and associations to drive visibility and increase Marketing team participation
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Program Management, Communications, Marketing, related field, or equivalent experience required. Master's degree preferred.

8+ years of related experience, including social media management software. 3+ years of direct communications experience with significant experience supporting C-level executive communications.

Experience with the latest digital technologies and social media trends.
