The primary focus for the intern, AED Marketing will be conducting sales tracing analysis and purchaser SIC code correlations to help with lead generation targeting. Candidate will analyze sales data to gain insights about key buying trends, vertical markets, decision makers, and other relevant data. Project deliverables include a master spreadsheet that is sortable by data types that can be added to and used for future insights and well as data driven and graphical reports of findings.

NOTE: This is a summer intern position from Late May to Late August

Essential Functions:

• Assisting with historical analysis of direct marketing campaign performance and defining standard reporting structures for understanding trends and opportunities for marketing refinement.
• Target audience research on behaviors and interests to better understand key end-user persona profiles - what they read, what they care about, what websites they visit, etc.
• Research on buying behaviors and decision making processes for several top-tier vertical markets as determined by the tracing analysis.
• Setting up a survey monkey for distributors to get their perspective and input on end-user buying behavior and pain points.
• Assisting with new list research for our mail and email campaigns - US and Canada.
• Competitive analysis (marketing)
• Identifying key industry influencers, bloggers, thought-leaders
